Sweet tooth

Got teeth?

Emersyn does! She has 10 teeth.

I have been brushing her gums and teeth for quite awhile. As I have with all my babies.

She loves holding her toothbrush and when you ask her to brush, she does.

A clean mouth is a healthy mouth!

The kids photo shoot went really well!

They really got into it and had their own ideas of how they wanted to pose.They were happy, they listened to the photographer and they sat still!

Trust me, getting 5 to do that for very long is not easy!!

Inauguration? What inauguration?

We are too busy enjoying a snow day!

The kids have literally had a 5 day weekend!

Sure, it's an historical day. Blah. Blah. Blah...

I was more interested in watching my kids enjoy the snow.

Snow doesn't fall here very often. When it does, it pretty much shuts down the whole city. That may seem silly to those of you who see a lot of snow but here in the south snow is very rare. I have only seen snow one other time in our nearly 2 years of living here. It was the night before Emersyn was born and it only lasted an hour at the most.

I won't complain!I love and miss the snow!Plus, the kids had an extra day home from school.Yay!

Hopefully, it won't be the last we see of snow this year.

Emersyn's 1st year

I am so blessed to have this precious soul in my life. I knew in my heart many years ago that this precious girl would be a part of my life. She is such a gift!

I sit here thinking about how quickly this year has passed. Where does the time go?It seems so cliche to say but it seems just like yesterday that I had her. One year ago tonight it was snowing outside and I was getting ready for bed because I had an early morning c-section planned.

Now, she is here, she is sleeping in her nursery and her 1st birthday party is tomorrow!

She absolutely completes our family!!

I wanted to share some recent photos as well as a little slide show of our little girl.

I am a child of God

Emersyn loves to sing!

She has been aware of music since birth.

When music plays she dances ( her signature move) and she sings.

At church, she will sing really loud.

She will start singing to prelude music so, naturally people can hear her.

We went to a school play,"Annie", that Lunden was in and during the prelude to the song "Maybe" Emersyn began singing. Everyone could hear her.

I heard a lot of "awww" and giggles but I literally had to

take her to the back of the auditorium so she wouldn't upstage the actors. lol

I just wanted to share this precious bit of video taken in late November.

Ok, so this is Etv today. All Emmy, all the time.

This is Emersyn's signature dance move! Since she could dance, she has danced like this.

Precious...

"Hello"

Emersyn started saying "Hello" a few weeks ago.

I have said before, I wish I could have a mommy cam on every second to catch all the cute thing's all my kids do. Kinda hard to do though AND it would look pretty silly! lol

I went in to get her out of bed this morning and with a little convincing I was able to get her to say " hello". Even before her morning breakfast! What a girl!

If you listen closely ( turn off my elevator music) you will hear her say "hello" at the end.

I will try and get more video up soon showing Emersyn's talent's!

Street's at Southpoint, N.C.

The Street's at Southpoint is fun spot for us to hang out. It is in Durham N.C..

I found this mall last year through the navigation system when the kids and I went on one of many business trips with Ben.
