It's Autumn time!

Ok, so, I had to pay homage to my favorite season.....

The very first thing I do is put up a wreath on the door.

The fall colors are already popping here. Actually they started the first of the month. Way earlier this year! I wonder if this means an earlier winter? I hope so! I can't wait to head north and see more colors next month!

Marth Stewart has always been a big part of my decorating and baking ideas. I am a little Martha obsessed actually. I watch her show and buy her magazines. She has the best ideas and puts so much time into the smallest details.

Here are some "Good Thing's"

Another Good Thing" favorite is making homemade soup and bread. It's such a cozy meal when

it's chilly outside

So, I hope these ideas inspire you to make your home more cozy and festive this year!

Happy first full day of Fall!!

Did I ever tell you we have a lake?

We do!

It's only 2 miles from our house.
We have to drive over the dam anytime we go to the malls/shops, etc. I never tire looking at it and still am amazed that it is so big and practically in our backyard.
It is a huge lake!!
I love to watch the sailboats or watch people fishing from their boats. The boy's confuse the lake with the ocean and ask if there are sharks in the water. lol
This is also the lake that I walk over. They have a great walk/bike path over the dam. It's a 5 1/2 mile walk if you go over and back!
Well, until next time....

Oh how a year goes by!

I can't believe we have been in our house 1 year now!
(have we really been in S.C. 1 1/2 years??!!)

Our house is so wonderful.

So many people have homes that are over-the-top or too large for their family or needs. Not our house. It is gorgeous and big enough for a family of 7 with room to spread out. I love it.

Now, if I could just find the time and extra money to decorate it!!!!

LOL

Emmy is 8 month's old!

Emmy turned 8 months old!!

She is, hands down, the most precious spirit in our home. She is happy and healthy and bring's a smile to each one of us. The kids can't wait to be around her.

She loves to pull hair! She will repeat sounds that the kids make to her. She say's "dada", "Nana" and "Mama".

Lunden swears that she said " hi sissy" one time. lol

My day's are happier with her in them and

I am so greatful that I didn't give up trying to have one last baby. I knew this little girl was meant to be here in our home.
We love you Emersyn!!!

Logan's 1st "shiner"

No, we didn't play dress up and put make up on him. Poor thing!
He fell off of the step along side my bed and got this nasty cut which turned into a black eye.
If anyone in this house is gonna get hurt, it's Logan. He is so accident prone.
We are so lucky that it wasn't worse!
He is our "skywalker" for sure!

The joy's of mammography

Yes, I had my very first mammogram. Oh the Joy!
It wasn't that bad. If you can breastfeed, you can go through a mammogram!
=D
