We recieved a Magical delivery yesterday......
Our tickets to Disneyland!!!
We haven't been to Disneyland in 3 years.
We literally went from having annual passes with weekly visits
the entire 8 years we lived in So. Cal.
to moving to South Carolina with no trips
out West since moving here ( 3 years ago).
We are SO deprived. lol
Needless to say we are all very excited to go!
The kids have been having "withdrawls" since moving.
They torture themselves by playing Disney music
( the songs that go along with the rides)
and reminisce.
It's quite pitiful actually.
It will be Emersyn's first time and I am sure
Logan doesn't really remember much about it either.
He was only 2 when we moved to South Carolina.
We have actually been to Disney World since moving back East.
It's SO not the same.
It's actually TOO big.
I say it's impersonal.
Disneyland is the perfect size.
It has the better Small World.
Has a better Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
Has a better Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
And the only Raiders of the Lost Ark ride....
(which the two younger boys can now ride)
It's quaint.
As Mary Poppins would say....
"It's practically perfect in every way".

I agree about Disney World being too big. It attracts double the people so but doesn't have double the rides. So the lines are just longer.
I remember when I was at Disneyland in High School for Cheerleading Regionals and saw your family! I miss it so much and want to go again! Hope you guys have fun!
